BIG 92.7 FM, BANGALORE BREAKS MUSIC OF ‘ARAMANE’ ON AIR

Bangalore, March, 2008: BIG 92.7 FM, India’s No. 1 FM Station in another category first initative, launched the music of the much awaited film Aramane today. The music launch saw the live – radio launch across the 3 Stations of Bangalore, Mangalore & Mysore, on the breakfast show – BIG Coffee.

In Bangalore, the breakfast show, hosted by RJ Harsha, saw some great interaction and fun on the show, including high listener interactivity with both Director and Actor of the film. Directed by Nagashekar, the movie features renowned actor and multiple award winner Golden star GANESH. The music is exclusively made available only to BIG 92.7 FM, before it can be heard anywhere else.

The main character of this movie is a photographer who provides unlimited entertainment and carries a lot of emotions. It is a tailor-made character for superstar Ganesh who has a mass fan following not only in Karnataka but across the country after his super hit films ‘Mungaru Male’ & ‘Galipata’. 

As the exclusive Radio partner, BIG 92.7 FM has exhaustive on-air plans for the music of Aramane in order to create unprecedented buzz. BIG 92.7 FM has started the promotion of the movie by premiering the music beginning from Mar 24 for a period of 15 days on air exclusively across all three cities in the state. The Station will also feature interviews with the cast and crew of the movie and also run contests for its listeners across Bangalore, Mangalore and Mysore.

SUNIL KUMARAN APPOINTED AS CLUSTER HEAD, BIG 92.7 FM (KARNATAKA & KERALA)

Sunil Kumaran has been appointed as the Cluster Head of BIG 92.7 FM for Karnataka & Kerala. Sunil comes with over fourteen years of media experience in strategic media planning & buying functions in India and in the Middle East. In his new role as Cluster Head, Sunil will overlook the entire Station’s functioning along with cluster responsibilities for Karnataka & Kerala.

Sunil started his career as Marketing Executive but quickly moved his focus toward the media industry. He has worked across agencies like HTA, Lintas, Rediffusion and handled clients across categories which include P&G, Titan, Tata Tea, Bajaj Auto, Heinz, Parle Products etc. Prior to joining BIG 92.7 FM, Sunil was the Media Head for Universal Media in Bahrain.
